Every bride wants her Big Day to be just as unique as she and her love story are. Fortunately, there are a lot of ways you can do this – and centerpieces are definitely among them. If you want to be original and stylish with your table centerpieces, take a look at the following “non-floral” ideas and inspire yourself!

  • ·         Paper flowers. Although some of you may be thinking of kindergarten “DIY projects”, the truth is that there are paper flowers out there that look simply gorgeous. From oversized paper peonies to beautiful poppies, paper flowers can take almost any shape you can think of. The best part about them? They never actually whither, which means that they’ll stay pretty no matter how hot the weather may get!
  • ·         Cake. Instead of serving one large tiered cake, use smaller cakes to “decorate” and delight every wedding table. You can be playful with the cakes and have a different frosting and filling for each table or you can keep them all the same.
  • ·         Luminous centerpieces. Use lamps or candles to decorate the center of your wedding tables and everything will look whimsical, romantic and stylish. The secret lies in picking the right type of light fixture or candle and in making sure it complements the rest of the wedding décor too.
  • ·         Seashells. Planning a beach wedding? Use seashells and corals to create stunning centerpieces everyone at the wedding will love. With just a dash of creativity, you can really come up with something unique and extremely good-looking as well.
